01 / INSTALL
Do this. In this order.
- Make a Minecraft 1.8.9 instance.
- Install Forge 11.15.1.2318.
- Put
recordable-1.0.0-forge-1.8.9.jarin that instance'smodsfolder. - Launch it with Java 8.
The clapperboard button on the title screen means it loaded. Congratulations on moving one file.
FFmpeg is not bundled. The mod offers to download it on first launch and asks before fetching anything, because consent is not difficult.

Lunar users: use the right bloody option.
Prism works. Normal Forge works. Lunar works through its Vanilla/Forge profile.
Branded Lunar/Ichor bins arbitrary external Forge mods before the game starts. If you use that option, record-ish will not load. That launcher ignored the JAR; the JAR did not ignore you.
